This study aims to describe the integration of gamification into a creative curriculum to enhance student engagement and motivation in the digital age. Using a descriptive method, this research analyzes the implementation of game elements, such as challenges, rewards, progression levels, and competition, in school learning. Data was collected through surveys administered to students and teachers involved in the gamification program. The findings indicate that the application of gamification significantly increases student engagement and motivation in learning. The majority of students reported feeling more motivated and active in their studies after the implementation of gamification. The use of game elements created a more enjoyable and interactive learning environment, reducing the boredom often associated with traditional teaching methods. However, the study also found that while gamification effectively boosts external motivation, some students were more focused on external rewards, such as points and badges, rather than gaining a deeper understanding of the material. This suggests that while gamification increases motivation, its application must be balanced with rewards that emphasize a more substantial understanding and application of the material. Additionally, the study revealed challenges in applying gamification, particularly regarding the diversity of students' learning styles, which requires a flexible gamification design to accommodate various needs. Therefore, gamification should be designed with elements that can be adjusted to suit students' preferences, whether they prefer individual challenges or team-based activities. Overall, the study concludes that gamification can be an effective strategy to improve student engagement and motivation in learning. However, its implementation must be tailored to meet students' needs and characteristics while ensuring a balance between competition and deeper material comprehension. With proper design, gamification has the potential to enhance the quality of education by creating a more enjoyable, dynamic, and relevant learning experience in the digital age.
