EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN MEDIA WAYANG UNTUK PENGENALAN PENDIDIKAN SEKS BERBASIS ISLAMI ANAK USIA 5-6 TAHUN DI TK BINTANG MULIA KAMPAR

Abstract

This research aimed at finding out the effectiveness of Wayang media in introducing Islamic based sex education to 5-6 years old early children.  It was quantitative research with experiment and one group pretest posttest design.  The formula of t-test showed that H₀ was rejected and H_a was accepted if t_table was higher than t_observed, and the test was conducted with SPSS 23 program.  The subjects of this research were 5-6 years old early children at Kindergarten of Bintang Mulia Kampar.  Normalized Gain formula was used to know the effectiveness level of Wayang media in introducing Islamic based sex education to 5-6 years old early children at Kindergarten of Bintang Mulia Kampar, its result was 81.36% and it was on high category.  Observation, test, and documentation were the techniques of collecting data.  Based on data analysis result of children observation sheet, t_observed was -43.790 and t_table was 1.94318, so t_table was higher than t_observed (1.94318>-43.790).  These data showed that H₀ was rejected and H_a was accepted.  So, it could be concluded that there was an effectiveness of using Wayang media in introducing Islamic based sex education to 5-6 years old early children at Kindergarten of Bintang Mulia Kampar
