PENGARUH SELF EFFICACY TERHADAP KEAKTIFAN BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS NEGERI 9 MANDAU

Abstract

This research aimed at finding out the influence of students’ self-efficacy toward their learning activeness at State Senior High School 9 Mandau. This research was conducted at State Senior High School 9 Mandau. It was quantitative research with correlational method. The subjects of this research were the eleventh-grade students of Social Science at State Senior High School 9 Mandau. Proportional random sampling technique was used in this research, and the samples were 117 persons. Questionnaire and documentation were used to collect data. The technique of analyzing data was quantitative analysis technique by using product moment correlation test analysis. Based on the research findings, it could be concluded that there was a significant influence of students’ self-efficacy toward their learning activeness at State Senior High School 9 Mandau. This result was proven with the comparison between robserved and rtable, robserved was higher than rtable at 5% (0.526>0.1816) and 1% (0.526>0.2373) error levels, so H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. The contribution of the influence of students’ self-efficacy toward their learning activeness based on R Square test was 27.7%, and the rest 72.3% was influenced by other variables that were not mentioned in this research.
