This study was motivated by the low levels of student interest and learning motivation, as well as the absence of daily life-based e-modules for the Acid Base topic in the eleventh grade of Senior High School. The purpose of this research was to design a daily life-based e-module on Acid Base concepts and to determine its levels of validity and practicality. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the DDR (Design and Development Research) model, consisting of the stages of analysis, design, development, and evaluation. The study was conducted at State Senior High School 15 Pekanbaru. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires. The results showed that the content validity assessment for the acid–base material and the media evaluation yielded expert validity scores of 92.8% and 85.4%, respectively, which were categorized as “very valid.” The teacher practicality test produced a score of 90%, categorized as “very practical,” while the student response score was 87.2%, indicating a “very good” level of practicality. Therefore, it can be concluded that the daily life-based e-module on Acid–Base concepts is highly valid and very practical for use in learning activities.
