The Influence of Information and Technology Communications (ICT) Skills toward Student Work Readiness at Vocational High School 4 Pekanbaru

This research aimed at finding out the influence of information and technology communications (ICT) skills toward student work readiness in facing the industrial world. Quantitative descriptive approach was used in this research. This research was conducted at State Vocational High School 4 Pekanbaru, and the samples were students of Accounting and Financial Institutions department. Based on the research findings regarding the influence of information and technology communications (ICT) skills toward student work readiness at State Vocational High School 4 Pekanbaru, the score of R Square was 0.052, and it indicated that information and technology communications (ICT) skills were able to explain 5.2% of work readiness variable, while the rest 94.8% was influenced by other variables not examined in this research. The calculation results of correlation test showed that the score of r (Pearson correlation) was 0.229, and the significance level was 0.016. Because the significance level was lower than 0.05, Ha was accepted, and H0 was rejected. It meant that there was a significant influence of information and technology communications (ICT) skills toward student work readiness.
