PENGARUH RETURN ON INVESTMENT, RETURN ON EQUITY, EARNING PER SHARE, NET PROFIT MARGIN DAN DEBT TO EQUITY RATIO TERHADAP HARGA SAHAM

Abstract

Investors always conducts stock analysis before deciding to buy. Among the indicators analyzed are return on investment, return on equity earning per share, net profit margin and debt to equity ratio, because these indicators can measure a company that is used as a basis by investors to see the profits that will be obtained later. This study aims to determine the effect of return on investment, return on equity, earning per share, net profit margin and debt to equity ratio on the share price of coal mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study is a quantitative research using secondary data with a sample of 23 companies. The results of the data analysis show that partially earnings per share, and debt to equity ratio affect the stock price. Meanwhile, return on investment, return on equity and net profit margin have no effect on stock prices. Simultaneously, it shows that the free variable can explain the influence on the stock price of 30.82% while the remaining 69.18% is influenced by other factors that are not included in this study.
